What is High School Conference?

Cultural student organizations host annual High School  Conferences that high
school students can participate in.  The purpose  of high school conference
is to introduce students to access opportunities they can receive or utilize to
pursue higher education at  San Diego State University and college in general.
The conference is completely free and parents are encouraged to come as
well.

Free Workshops

A variety of different workshops are provided for students to give them an insight on
different things they may encounter on a college campus. (e.g. How to dorm successfully).
There are even workshops for PARENTS! Many of us are sending first gen students off to
a university and have tons of questions...but don't fret, we are here for YOU!

Presenters and Keynote Speaker

There will be several different staff and faculty at the conference to present information
about EOP, Financial Aid, and Admissions. In addition to these presenters, we will have
a motivational keynote speaker to get your blood pumping for college!

Scholarship Award
This year our ASU High School Conference will be awarding a scholarship exclusive to high school students who attend our conference. Eligibility requirements are mentioned in the application. It's free money--definitely not an opportunity you should pass up! Please click the link below to download the application.
